A question to green Irish homeowners?
Have you had any products installed into your property under SEI’s “Greener Homes Scheme”?

We are thinking of applying for a grant to instal a Solar Panel and a heat pump and we want to know if it is cost-effective. Any input would be most welcome, especially including links to forums which discusses these issues. Many Thanks..
I was wondering about that too – currently it seems to me that they wouldn’t pay for themselves within their lifetimes, so one wonders what’s the point of it all…
